Jamabro Wines—Every label tells a story

We are a “hands on” family owned winery situated in the renowned quality wine region, the Barossa Valley.
Our grape growing heritage spans 6 generations, and our passion for winemaking is genetic. All of our labels tell an unique family story of history, remembrance and experiences along our new journey to bring you
handcrafted, affordable quality wines.

The 2005 The “PT” Shiraz label

The legendary PT Falkenberg, owner of Glenview Wines, was my Grandpa. An upstanding Barossa citizen,
vigneron and businessman, I enjoyed following him around the winery but causing havoc along the way. Married to Esther, they had 7 children, one of course being my Mother. This outstanding wine is our salute to PT and recognition of the genetics instilled in me to want to make wine. Cheers Grandpa!

The “PT” Shiraz Vineyard

These vines are over 40 years old. They grow in a slight valley on the undulating Western side of Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. The soil is deep sand.

Tasting Note

Dense to the core with a vibrant purple hue. Inky rich nose offering waves of blackberry, dark plum and
Christmas cake aromas. The richness and generosity of this wine is beautifully balanced by the well handled oak and fine chalky tannin. Generous flavours of dark juicy plums, dried prunes and lashings of spice. This wine can be enjoyed now in the full flight of youth or laid down for six to eight years.

Decanting wine ensures that you can enjoy it's full potential.
